Review of the Four Seasons Silicon Valley in Palo Alto
This past week, I had the chance to visit Palo Alto as part of the Yahoo! Mother Board Summit. The entire Mother Board was put up in the Four Seasons Silicon Valley for two nights, and honestly, it’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever visited.
The Four Seasons Silicon Valley is located right off the freeway in Palo Alto. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a spa, room service, and an onsite upscale restaurant/wine bar.
I stayed two nights, and was incredibly impressed by the service at the hotel. Employees answered the phone knowing my name. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. In addition, the social media team followed our group’s tweets, and responded accordingly. When I commented on the wonderful travel hairdryer in my room, they offered to charge one to my room and deliver it to me (I took them up on it!).
The room was absolutely wonderful – it was oversized, and offered loads of closet and drawer space. The workspace was huge – perfect for me to get some work done post-conference. But, the best part is the oversized soaking tub with the flat-screen television facing it. Each night, I just relaxed, watched some television, and then slept in the completely comfortable bed – pure bliss.
